  1. Can a number segment be used so a legal entity has a unique identifier in regards to personal employee numbers that auto generate?

    If yes, can the segment be assigned to a specific company? We have three companies.

    • Hi Destinie,

      Employee master is a shared table in AX2012. So, you cant have company specific sequence. To put it short, if you create an employee from company 1, the EMP ID may be Emp-0001. Then, you go to company2 and create a new employee, you will receive the number EMP-0002.
